- Every region you begin with and unlock has a settlement that comes with it
- Each settlement will have one or more businesses ready to be sold goods
- A settlement starts as a Village and the next level it advances to is a Town and then so on
- The overview page shows the status of Growth, Economy and Passengers
- A positive balance across all three will allow a settlement to have their status upgraded, along with the Lifetime Money earned (Stats tab)
- Satisfy the businesses needs to improve the economy rating
- Setup a passenger network to improve the passengers rating
