Hi I’m SMERKIN 5000 and I'm a big fan of Voxel Tycoon, I've been playing it since it was released onto Steam and as of writing this I'm already up to 350 hours of game time. I'm a full time streamer / content creator on Twitch, I'm known for my 5500+ hours in the game Satisfactory by Coffee Stain Studios.

Why did I decide to create a website for Voxel Tycoon? I've previously authored the Satisfactory Guru website and it proved to be an instrumental tool for me to teach people aspects of the game, especially when I'm streaming the game and there's no quick answer to give the viewer on a specific topic. Now that I've caught the Voxel Tycoon bug I also wanted the same ability to be able provide a website full of useful information, it brings me much joy.

I am based in an Australian country town called Deniliquin. I previously worked in the IT industry for 20+ years and for the 5 years prior to April 2020 I was working remotely for a USA based software company creating documentation for their computer monitoring software products. After streaming part time for 18 months, in April 2020 I decided to take the plunge and become a full time streamer. I have also recently become qualified to work in the child care industry, being able to share in a child's early development is really a wonderful privilege.

Randy, my German Shepherd (and best friend) gets more attention on stream from my viewers than me, hence he has his own camera and green screen setup. Randy is a thoroughbred who is about 5 years old as of writing this. He is named after my favorite South Park character Randy Marsh and funnily enough their personalities match.
